Jeff Buys Your House Partners with Chicago Wolves to Support Local Veterans

At Jeff Buys Your House, supporting veterans and our local community has always been important to who we are. This season, we’re proud to continue that commitment through a new partnership with the Chicago Wolves and Score for Charity.

As part of the partnership, Jeff Buys Your House will donate $100 to the West Suburban Foundation for Disabled Veterans for every point Chicago Wolves defenseman Dominik Badinka earns during the season.

That means every goal and every assist from Badinka will help make an impact beyond the ice.

Turning Points Into Support for Local Veterans

The West Suburban Foundation for Disabled Veterans (WSFDV) has been supporting veterans in the western suburbs of Chicago since 2005. The nonprofit works to help disabled veterans and their families with housing and other living needs while also supporting access to mental health resources and veteran-focused organizations throughout the community.

For Jeff Buys Your House, choosing WSFDV as the beneficiary of this partnership was especially meaningful.

Our relationship with the organization isn’t new. In July, Jeff Buys Your House was proud to support Rockin’ for Our Vets: America 250, an event hosted by WSFDV at Cantigny Park in Wheaton. The event brought together veterans, families, local organizations and community supporters while raising awareness and support for veteran causes throughout the area.

Now, our partnership with the Chicago Wolves gives us another opportunity to continue supporting that mission throughout the hockey season.

A Mission That Hits Close to Home

For owner and CEO Jeff Nydegger, supporting veterans is personal.

Jeff is a U.S. Army combat veteran who served two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. His experience in the military helped shape many of the principles that continue to guide Jeff Buys Your House today, including service, integrity and commitment to others.

Those values extend beyond helping Chicagoland homeowners.

As a local, veteran-owned business, we believe being part of a community also means finding meaningful ways to give back to it. Supporting organizations that serve veterans and their families is one way our team can continue that commitment.

That’s what makes this partnership about more than hockey.

Following Dominik Badinka Throughout the Season

There will be an extra reason for our team to cheer every time Dominik Badinka gets on the scoresheet this season.

For every point he earns, another $100 will go to the West Suburban Foundation for Disabled Veterans.

We’re looking forward to following his season, sharing updates along the way and watching the donation total grow with every goal and assist.

Most importantly, we’re proud that his success on the ice will help support an organization making a difference for veterans here in our local community.
